Dark
skies did not dampen the spirit of 24 women who gathered at Christopher
Morley Park Golf Course in Roslyn, October 4, to play nine holes of
golf with friends and colleagues who "know how to swing."
Alison Burke, vice president of Washington Mutual and Susan Siegel,
director of public relations for The Bristal Assisted Living, co-chaired
the event. Sponsored by the education committee, the day included
breakfast and lunch which was partially underwritten by EWGA. Mentors
volunteered their time to introduce beginner golfers to the nuances
of the game. Their help was much appreciated. If you would like to
join the education committee to assist with planning futureevents,
